PARTISIPASI MAHASISWA DALAM PROGRAM GO GREEN BERBASIS PENGELOLAAN SUMBER DAYA ALAM BERKELANJUTAN

Abstract

Student participation in the Go Green Program based on sustainable natural resource management is one of the strategic steps to increase environmental awareness among the younger generation. This program aims to educate students about the importance of sustainability and environmental preservation. Through activities involving students, such as tree planting, it is hoped that it can create behavior that cares more about environmental sustainability. This study aims to explore the level of student participation in the program and the factors that influence it, such as environmental knowledge, social awareness, and educational institution policies. The results of the study indicate that although there is a good level of participation from students, the main challenge still lies in the lack of supporting facilities and strengthening of more concrete policies. Therefore, collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and the community is needed to create a more effective and sustainable program in maintaining the sustainability of natural resources.
