Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work motivation and compensation either partially or simultaneously on the performance of employees of PT Indokordsa TCF 1 Weaving. This research is a causal associative study using a quantitative approach. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that: (1) The results of partial hypothesis testing prove that motivation has an effect on the performance of PT Indo Kordsa, Tbk employees, this is evidenced by the t-count value of 6.065 > t-table 1.984 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. (2) The results of the partial hypothesis test prove that compensation has an effect on the performance of PT Indo Kordsa, Tbk employees, this is evidenced by the t-count value of 7.263 > t-table 1.984 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. (3) The results of hypothesis testing simultaneously prove that simultaneously the competence and motivation variables affect the performance of PT Indo Kordsa, Tbk employees, this is evidenced by the calculated F value of 77.369 > F table 2.698 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. (4) The most dominant variable affecting the performance of employees of PT Indo Kordsa, Tbk is the compensation variable, this can be seen from the regression coefficient value of the compensation variable of 0.497.
