PENGARUH EARNING PER SHARE (EPS), NET PROFIT MARGIN (NPM), DAN RETURN ON EQUITY (ROE) TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PADA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR INDUSTRI BARANG KONSUMSI YANG TERDAFTAR DI INDEKS LQ45 PERIODE 2013-2018
Abstract
This study aims to determine the level of influence of earnings per share (EPS), net profit margin (NPM), and return on equity (ROE) on stock prices in consumer goods industry sector companies listed on the LQ45 index for the 2013-2018 period. The research design used is quantitative research. The sample used as the research object is the financial statements of five companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the LQ45 index for the 2013-2018 period. The results of the partial hypothesis test (T test) show that EPS and ROE have an effect on stock prices, while NPM has no effect on stock prices. The simultaneous hypothesis test result (F test) shows the value of Sig. 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that the independent variables EPS, NPM, and ROE simultaneously affect the dependent variable stock prices. The results showed that the test value of the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.985 or 98.5%. The value of the coefficient of determination shows that the independent variables consisting of EPS, NPM, and ROE have an effect on 98.5% of stock prices (Y). While the remaining 1.5% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
